JOB SUMMARY:

The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is the senior executive at Anne Carlsen responsible for leading the organizations overall human resource strategy, overseeing all aspects of employee management including hiring, onboarding, training, compensation, performance management, benefits, culture development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.  The HCRO assists the organization by aligning human resource initiatives with the organizational strategic objectives.  This position assists executive leadership in developing short- and long-term strategies, goals, policies and procedures, program and service evaluation, and leads the organization’s capacity to maximize human resources overall impact in fulfilling Anne Carlsen’s mission and vision.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree related to Human Resources and/or Business Management in a related field or experience that is commensurate
• Five years of leadership experience in human resource management
• Five years’ supervisory experience at a senior leadership level
• Five years of budgetary responsibility

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Master’s degree in human resources and/or Business Management in a related field
• Eight years of leadership experience in human resources management
• Experience with a multi-site organization
• PHR or SPHR certification
• Five years of strategic planning experience
