Job Title: HR Coordinator
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Type of Employment: Contract (3–6 months)
Compensation: $25–$27/hour

Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an HR Coordinator for a contract opportunity. This position will support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts by coordinating pre-employment activities, maintaining hiring documentation, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring required documentation and pre-employment tasks are completed before start dates.
- Facilitate background screenings, employment verifications, drug testing, and other hiring-related processes with third-party vendors.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing guidance on onboarding requirements and responding to questions throughout the pre-hire process.
- Monitor onboarding progress and maintain accurate hiring records, communicating status updates to recruiting and HR teams.
- Review employment documents for completeness and accuracy while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Track and organize candidate and employee records within HR systems and applicant tracking platforms.
- Support recruiters and hiring managers by helping coordinate hiring workflows and resolving onboarding-related issues.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and proactive follow-up.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, or related experience; internship experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting onboarding, recruiting operations, or pre-employment processes.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with UKG is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with and maintain spreadsheets.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in a variety of HR-related functions as business needs evolve.
