Robert Half is currently partnering with a valued client in the non-profit industry to fill an essential role of a Human Resources Coordinator. This full-time position will be based on-site in San Francisco, CA, with the successful candidate reporting to the HR Manager.

About The Job

The HR Coordinator will assist the HR department in various responsibilities ranging from hiring coordination to handling employee relations and maintaining HR documentation. This position is vital in aiding the organization and operations of the HR department in a non-profit working environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment efforts, from job posting to conducting initial screenings.
• Maintain HR records and employee and volunteer databases.
• Answer HR-related queries from staff and volunteers.
• Assist with the scheduling of interviews, HR events and training sessions.
• Help manage benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR procedures and policies.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR coordinator or similar HR role in a non-profit organization is desirable.
• Knowledgeable about labor laws.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize various projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
