Position summary: The primary duties of this position are to provide full support to various members of the team, including scheduling, meeting preparation, providing day to day administrative assistance and some project management.

Essential Responsibilities/Outputs:

• Acts as the administrative point of contact between the CEO and internal/external demands.

• Responsible for planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

• Conserves staff’s time by drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, initiating telecommunications.

• Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.

• Maintains files, including paper and electronic, and prepares reports as needed.

• Supports staff in other areas as needed.

• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Other duties as reasonably requested.

Essential Skills/Experience: The successful candidate for this position will have, at minimum, the following skills, experience, and characteristics.

• 5+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant reporting directly to senior management required.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 4-5 years of Paycom experience

• Knowledge in Employment laws/regulations

• Strong focus on compliance – occupational health/safety

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent) and Adobe Pro, with the ability to become familiar with organization-specific programs and software required.

• Experience working with non-profits and boards of directors preferred.

• Strong organizational, schedule management, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and friendly demeanor.

• Integrity and high value on ethical and moral behavior regarding organizational operations, customer confidentiality, and overall team interactions.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Must be professional and able to handle large volumes of confidential and financial information with discretion.

• This position works within a professional office environment. Professionalism and discretion are required.

• Position will be required to utilize telephones and conferencing software to interact with various stakeholders.

• Less than 10% overnight travel; travel within city to support organization’s needs, conduct networking, etc., is expected.

Pay Details: $31.25 per week
