What You’ll Do

As a Human Recourses Generalist at USA Mortgage, you will be actively involved in developing and delivering initiatives, plans, programs and services that foster engagement and drive the performance and productivity of our employee owned company. Our HRGs are responsible for partnering with our HR team, corporate and branch leadership and employees nationwide to provide comprehensive consultative and operational support on all people related matters, including employee relations, policy administration, performance and discipline, benefits and leave of absence administration. The development of communication strategies for the design and delivery of these programs and the opportunity to engage in all areas of HR support provides for a robust opportunity to learn and grow in the HR arena!

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide partnership and support internally to the HR team, as well as to the leadership and employee population of USA Mortgage company-wide.
  • Provide consultation and support to managers as relates to employee relations, policy, performance, discipline.
  • Actively participate in onboarding and offboarding needs and activities, in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
  • HRIS/employee data maintenance.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
  • 3+ years or more in an HR Generalist role with the ability to mentor and motivate others to achieve optimal performance.
  • Approachable and trustworthy demeanor to manage conflict and confidential situations.
  • Self-motivated, capable decision-maker with strong time management and organizational skills.

Salary Description

$65,000-$70,000
