Job Summary

The Senior Human Resources Director will partner with business leadership to translate the business strategy into a people strategy developing initiatives that fuel company performance, nurture employee relations, and foster a culture of growth and engagement that aligns with the company’s values. As the Senior Human Resources Director you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of human resources and organization culture within our company.
Essential Functions
  • Drive business outcomes by translating strategy into actionable plans by leading, designing and executing people strategies and HR initiatives.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, oversee onboarding processes and implement strategies for talent retention and development.
  • Assist executive team with development and execution of organizational change initiatives, facilitate communications and drive employee engagement during periods of significant growth. Foster transparency and open dialog to promote acceptance.
  • Develop and facilitate implementation of an eNPS solution to manage to appropriate level of employee engagement, satisfaction and dissatisfaction, rates of turnover and retention.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions ensuring fair and consistent handling of these and related matters.
  • Keep executive leadership team and department heads abreast of performance management issues, i.e. evaluating staff performance, communicating results and/or development needs, and implementing improvement plans and/or corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage the implementation of new HRIS modules and upgrades, including the design and testing of new functionality, data conversions, and system integrations.
  • Develop and maintain the organization’s compensation and benefits systems and plans; make recommendations for change and improvement as needed.
  • Review and make recommendations for improvement of organizational policies, procedures and practices; assist department heads and employees in communicating and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
  • Create and sustain a culture consistent with the core beliefs and values of the organization. Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations and company policies. Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and team member experience to recommend systemic improvements.
  • Lead and develop HR team to achieve company and individual career growth objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or human resource management
  • 10 years minimum of progressive HR experience dealing with all aspects of HR
  • Experience reporting to or working with senior management teams
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Must be effective at both strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partnerships
  • Demonstrated analysis, problem-solving, research and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and build trust with others at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A self-starter that is adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: Starting salary is $160,000.00, commensurate with experience. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
