HR Manager

The HR Manager is tasked with overseeing Human Resources operations for the U.S. division. This role entails managing Accounts Payable, which includes daily invoice processing and the handling of monthly and annual procedures. Collaboration with the senior controller is essential to assist with various accounting responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager
Human Resources
- Facilitate payroll processing and monitor time and attendance systems (Paylocity, SuccessFactors).
- Oversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and status updates.
- Act as a representative with MSSA for HR, payroll, and benefits management.
- Manage PTO tracking and maintain accurate employee records.
- Provide support for recruitment efforts, job descriptions, company policies, and employee handbook revisions.
- Ensure compliance and retention of HR records.
Accounting / Finance
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, GL coding, and purchase order processing.
- Handle 1099s, W-9s, vendor payments, and generate PosiPay bank files.
- Conduct journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounts payable adjustments.
- Maintain cash control spreadsheets and perform bank reconciliations.
- Process expense reports and intercompany/vendor deposits in Navision.
- Assist in various audits (workers’ compensation, unemployment, 401k).
Qualifications for the HR Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in controlling, HR, or related accounting roles.
- Proficient in ERP systems; experience with Navision is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required; familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in interpreting financial data and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required, and Spanish is a preferred asset.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
