We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with site leadership and supervisors to deliver hands-on HR support, drive employee engagement, and ensure alignment between HR strategies and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have prior HR experience and thrive in a dynamic, on-site setting.
Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnership
- Collaborate with leadership and supervisors to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Handle employee relations matters, including inquiries, investigations, and solution recommendations.
- Equip managers to address performance concerns and implement Performance Improvement Plans.
- Conduct inquiries, exit interviews, employee discussions, and feedback sessions.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring needs.
- Coordinate onboarding process and deliver orientation.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records using HR systems (Workday preferred) and manual tracking tools (Excel).
- Analyze HR data and report trends to leadership.
Employee Support & Benefits
- Assist employees with leave of absence, Workers’ Compensation, and benefits-related inquiries.
- Provide timely, proactive HR support to employee concerns.
- Track and keep managers informed about leave and accommodation status.
Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Partner with leadership and Total Rewards to support competitive compensation practices.
- Assist with workforce planning and organizational needs.
Culture & Engagement
- Drive employee engagement initiatives such as All Hands meetings, digital announcement postings, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
- Provide oversight and participate in site events committee.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture across both sites.
Learning & Development
- Identify development opportunities for employees and managers.
- Partner with HR teams to implement training and development programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employment laws.
- Pay range is $33-38/hr based on experience
