Position Summary
The HRIS Reporting & Analytics Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable HR reporting and dashboarding for HR and key partners across the organization. This role partners closely with HR Operations, HRIS/PSA, Talent Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, enterprise HR, and other key stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights that support effective decision-making.
The analyst will maintain and enhance reporting within UKG (current state) while also supporting future HR technology initiatives, including potential migration to a Global HRIS and broader analytics capabilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring data quality, standardizing reporting processes, and elevating how HR and key stakeholders across the organization leverage people analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports across HR functions (e.g., headcount, turnover, onboarding, time & attendance, org structure, PTO, compliance, talent management, compensation)
- Build and support dashboards in UKG, Power BI, or future analytics tools.
- Provide accurate, timely insights to HR leaders and key stakeholders to guide strategic decisions.
- Translate complex data sets into clear, digestible formats for non-technical stakeholders.
HRIS & Data Stewardship
- Work across current-state HR systems and manual data sources to validate and consolidate information, while helping to shape more integrated reporting processes as our HR technology ecosystem evolves.
- Support reporting logic, calculated fields, and data validations within UKG and other connected systems.
- Assist with data audits, cleanup efforts, and stewardship activities across HR data domains.
- Maintain documentation for reporting processes, definitions, and data models.
- Partner with HRIS and other key stakeholders on data integrity, system upgrades, and enhancements.
- Support future-state HR technology evaluations (e.g. Workday, ADP, EFX, HR Acuity, or other HR platforms) by providing data mapping, reporting requirements, and analytics insights.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a trusted resource to HR leaders and other stakeholders for workforce insights and reporting needs.
- Consult with HR and appropriate key stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
- Provide guidance on self-service reporting capabilities as they mature
Operational Support
- Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
- Help streamline and automate repeatable reporting processes.
- Assist with compliance-related reports (EEO, ACA, turnover trends, audit support)
- Partner with HROPS and enterprise HR to refine dashboards and operational reporting.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
- 4+ years of direct experience in HRIS reporting, HR Analytics, or workforce data roles, with hands-on experience developing data insights within a complex HR and matrix environment.
- Experience building complex reports and dashboards in enterprise HRIS platforms such as UKG (Pro or Dimensions), Workday, or Oracle.
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups).
- Ability to translate data into insights and communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with HR data structures and processes across onboarding, core HR, compensation, timekeeping, and related domains.
- Experience in high-growth and/or matrixed environments.
- Experience supporting HR reporting or system transitions during technology modernization is a plus.
- Exposure to global HR data structures.
