Location: Farmers Branch, TX (hybrid 2-3x in office)
Summary
The Director of HRIS is responsible for leading a dispersed team to drive strategy, management, and continuous improvement of Workday. Payroll and timekeeping are managed separately from Workday. In addition, this role be expected to create a roadmap to enhance system engagement and optimization. This leader will be expected to continue to develop the current team of HRIS Analysts and ensure they have the tools and skills to support the system needs of our employees as well as partner with the functional Workday counterparts that sit within other HR COEs (compensation, recruiting, learning, benefits, etc). The role is expected to demonstrate credibility by building collaborative relationships with the divisional leadership teams and HR leadership across the company. This leader will be a natural collaborator and business partner to HR and IT stakeholders and other peers within HR. The Director of HRIS should have a high personal accountability, high detail orientation and follow through, above reproach and casts culturally congruent shadow of leadership for team and organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • In partnership with the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), develop a multi-year strategy towards a mature state for the HR system ecosystem.
  • In addition to managing Workday tools, this leader will be expected to translate business strategies into relevant system capabilities or upgrades, as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction related to efficiency, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively support projects, project risks/issues and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Build strong customer relationships and manage diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the company.
  • Communicate effectively and manage system project stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • 7-10 years of experience in implementing and managing Workday tools, including HCM, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Advanced Compensation, and others.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience managing technology projects is preferred.
