Posting Summary

The HR Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical, data, and HR systems reporting support across the Campus. Advise HR colleagues, coordinate and execute data initiatives, and collaborate with various institutional functions to ensure the alignment of HR data with business objectives. Collaborate with Information Technology to standardize reporting queries and ensure data accuracy. Provide analytical support for institutional and HR initiatives, including data gathering, manipulation, synthesis, and interpretation. Conduct internal measurements and metrics analyses, such as employee turnover trends and benchmarks, to monitor HR programs. Assist Classification & Compensation group with special excel-based projects. Report to the HR Technology and Data Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Human Resources or a related field and three years of relevant experience are required. Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite skills, including the ability to manipulate data and perform complex analyses on many HR-related topics. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR systems, reporting tools and surveys, payroll, or similar employee management software. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking and analysis, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Desirable Qualifications

Relevant experience working in higher education is a plus. Relevant experience working with PeopleSoft and/or PeopleAdmin is a plus.

Other Information

Anticipated Pay Range: 60,000-65,000/year. Actual hiring pay dependent on current competitor market conditions, comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate’s experience level and length.

Special Conditions

A probationary period may be required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
