Description

We are providing an opportunity for a HR generalist in the Manufacturing industry, based in the HORSHAM, Pennsylvania area. In this role, you will be performing administrative tasks in support of the human resources department, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and assisting with recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the HRIS system to maintain data accuracy, including managing data reporting, payroll processing, timekeeping, and applying contract and work rules
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, conduct audits regularly, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage the benefits administration process, including coordinating open enrollment, acting as the main contact for employees regarding benefits, and reconciling invoices
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and onboarding tasks, such as posting job vacancies, reviewing resumes, tracking applicants, and organizing interviews
  • Act as a liaison for employees concerning HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues, address and resolve conflicts and grievances professionally and timely
  • Aid in the performance management process, including the evaluation process, setting performance expectations, and the discipline process
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement through various initiatives
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and policies, and ensure accurate administration of leave benefits
  • Coordinate benefits with brokers and handle enrollment changes
  • Prepare letters for new personnel, conduct orientation for new team members, and lead onboarding tasks.Gene

Requirements

  • Proficiency in administering Benefit Functions, with a comprehensive understanding of their impact on the organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Compliance, ensuring the organization meets all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Strong abilities in Employee Relations, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), with the ability to guide employees through the process
  • Experience with Paycom, utilizing the software for HR management functions
  • Expertise in Benefits Administration, effectively managing the organization’s employee benefits programs
  • Background in the Manufacturing industry, understanding the specific HR needs and challenges
  • Experience in handling Payroll for Union employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment
  • Proven track record in conducting Employee Relations Investigations, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
