We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Fernandina Beach, FL. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, HR policies and procedures, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.

salary: $26 – $28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

**Recruitment and Staffing**:
– Managing recruitment from posting to onboarding.
– Conducting interviews and liaising with hiring managers.
– Crafting job descriptions.

**Employee Relations**:
– Addressing concerns and grievances.
– Handling disciplinary actions and terminations.
– Mediating conflicts to foster a positive environment.

**Performance Management**:
– Implementing appraisal processes.
– Providing guidance on performance matters.
– Developing improvement plans.

**Training and Development**:
– Identifying training needs.
– Organizing learning opportunities.
– Monitoring development progress.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
– Administering benefits programs.
– Analyzing compensation trends.
– Managing payroll and compliance.

**HR Policies and Compliance**:
– Enforcing policies and procedures.
– Handling documentation and legal requirements.

**HR Administration**:
– Processing HR paperwork.
– Generating management reports.

**Employee Engagement and Culture**:
– Planning engagement activities.
– Enhancing organizational culture.

**HR Metrics and Analysis**:
– Tracking HR metrics.
– Analyzing turnover, absenteeism, etc.

**Legal Compliance**:
– Addressing legal matters.
– Handling disputes and claims.
