Senior Flexonics is looking for a talented, experienced, and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead the human resources teams at our facilities in Bartlett, IL, and Saltillo, Mexico

The Senior Flexonics division of Senior PLC serves markets with products for land vehicle emission control and industrial process control applications.

The Position:
The Human Resources Director drives the organization’s strategic and tactical HR initiatives that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
In this role, the Human Resources Director handles the leadership, management, administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function.
The role’s areas of responsibility are employee and labor relations, performance and compensation management, talent management, employee development, and talent acquisition.
What You Will Do:
- Act as the lead negotiator during labor negotiations
- Lead, manage, and provide clear direction to Senior’s human resources team.
- Design and execute HR strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives.
- Lead the organization’s employee and labor relations efforts.
- Develop and implement the organization’s talent acquisition strategies aimed to attract and retaining top talent.
- Spearhead Senior’s performance management and succession planning processes
- Coach the leadership team in the areas of employee development, employee relations, and labor relations
- Act as a catalyst for organizational change driving and promoting continuous improvement.
- Oversee human resources administration and own the employee experience.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or industrial relations
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on human resources experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in all aspects of labor relations to include lead negotiator exposure in labor contract negotiations.
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
