The company has partnered with Robert Half and is looking for a self-starter to grow with them, handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Based in the Brooklyn Park, Minnesota area, this contract / temporary HR Assistant position. This position is 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee database and HRIS systems.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documents as required.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training schedules.


  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with ADP is a plus!
