Are you an experienced Safety professional? What a great opportunity to join a dynamic company in Lancaster! This role encompasses Safety, Training and Human Resources. Hands on Leader, who will be primarily responsibility to maintain all documentation related to corporate safety department, to ensure OSHA compliance.  This role is 70-80% safety focused.  In addition, this position will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.

Responsibilities for the Safety/HR Coordinator include:

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of trainings across all facilities
  • Ability to create and update S.O.P.’s
  • Responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate safety meetings and walkthroughs
  • Ensure all programs and policies are in place and are being followed thoroughly by following up with supervisors and managers
  • Lead by example and foster a safety conscious culture
  • Coordinate annual training plans and ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements
  • The Safety/HR Coordinator will lead new hire orientations that includes safety and promote the company’s safety culture
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Other duties as required
