The role:
As the Sr. HR Manager at Moneypenny US, you will be responsible for the implementation of the people strategy in the US and lead, inspire and motivate the Working Life team to ensure consistent delivery in all business areas.
You will create and drive a people plan with the US Head of Operations and CEO and in conjunction with the UK People team, underpinned by our Trustmarks business strategy, and employee deeds, and partner with the senior leadership to provide the highest quality people service for all employees.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the annual people plan and be a champion for Moneypenny as a brand, maintaining the very highest standards in HR and service provision, delivering scalable and high-quality best practice, and an innovated HR direction and support to the business.
Through leadership of the people plan, your role will be pivotal within the overall business strategy supporting with profitable growth by way of happy, engaged and motivated employees.
This is a part-time in office position working 4 days per week with one direct report.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the US people team, and direct reports with integrity, professionalism and strong business acumen.
- Work in partnership with senior leadership to offer professional guidance, challenge the status quo, and influence outcomes, ensuring that critical strategic plans are recognized and supported; coach and cultivate the skills of senior leaders in addressing people-related matters with their respective departments.
- Ensure that all stakeholders receive a service that is independent and maintains confidentiality.
- Build and maintain a strategic people plan to support Business growth, ensure it is actioned within agreed timelines and updated according to insight and budget.
- Responsible for the People budget, understand the business profitability targets and ensure effective ROI on all people activity.
- Manage the administration of our rewards, compensation and benefit plans.
- Effectively assess and compile precise HR data to support strategic decision-making, deliver consistent and timely reports to the CEO/COO regarding essential employee data.
- Ensure comprehensive ownership of all Company HR standards, focusing on legal compliance and the integration of best practices while coordinating with external stakeholders as required. Function as a subject matter expert in employee management, with a reliable and updated awareness of legislative developments affecting our employee workforce.
- Design and implement an Employee Engagement survey, promoting its adoption and support among business executives.
- Deliver and maintain consistent performance management tools and processes across all business areas.
- Deliver end-to-end leadership of people change initiatives in the Business in partnership with the UK People team.
The person:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in HR with a t last 3 years’ experience managing teams.
- Demonstrated expertise as a strong HR leader with a successful history of achieving results across various HR functions in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
- Proven expertise in leadership development and coaching for senior teams, with a strong acumen to facilitate open, hones and transparent discussions at all levels of the organization.
- Strong personal leadership qualities with the ability to develop and support a high-performance culture across the business.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make tough decisions that balance employee and business interests.
- Proven expertise in implementing effective change initiatives focusing on a well-defined strategic people plan.
- Specific expertise in organizational design solutions, e.g., implementing operating models and organizational structures.
- Experience with organization development tools e.g., performance management and succession planning.
- In depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Several years of experience using various HRIS systems to manage and analyze people data.
- Experience using MS Office suite of applications, coupled with great communication skills both oral and written.
