Minimum Qualifications:

Education:  bachelor’s degree in related field and three to five years of experience in Human Resources.

Licensure:  PHR Certification Preferred

Experience:

Knowledge of state/federal laws and regulations as related to human resources.
Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment, skilled at working with teams and reinforcing their efforts.
Detail oriented, logical approach to problem analysis/solving and strategic planning.  Must demonstrate an appreciation of and the ability to work with diverse population.  Commitment to ethical standards and excellence required.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess four years’ experience working with sensitive confidential information, prior experience in Human Resources preferred.
Ability to work with highly sensitive confidential information.

Additional Requirements:  Must be able to complete a level II background screening and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to provide official transcripts.

Working Conditions:  Duties are performed on-site in office setting.

Computer Literate:  Microsoft Suite, Experience with HRIS systems, including report writing capabilities.

Summary:  Performs human resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:

Employee relations, employment, affirmative action, training and maintenance of human resources information systems (HRIS), benefits administration, and government reporting.

 

Job Duties:

Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Ensures that all required government postings are up-to-date and displayed as required.
Recruitment, on-boarding, background screenings,
Assists, as directed, with response to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
Assists in representing the company on any unemployment claims.
Facilitates and/or provides training (including new hire HR Orientation Benefits).
Prepares and Files EEO-1 report annually, maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to various federal, state and local regulations.
Manages open enrollment process via HRIS from initial set-up to completion of enrollment process including invoicing.
Manages ACA review of Series Codes and final tax form 1095-C/1094-C.
Assists with workers compensation claim reporting and compilation of OSHA 300A Report.
Maintains all benefit documents for health and welfare plans to comply with the Department of Labor regulations.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Backs up for all HR related positions within the department.
